He was still smiling as he answered. “I could have, but I didn’t want to. I thought I’d try something a little reckless.”
“But you’re not the reckless type.” I argued.
“Perhaps not, but I wanted to try. You’re always being reckless with your safety.” He said in his defense. I couldn’t deny it, he made an excellent point. He stood up, towering over me as he usually did with his perfect marble body that was ice cold to the touch. “So why can’t I be reckless?” he asked.
“There’s nothing wrong with being reckless, it’s just…” I let my voice trail off.
“Just what?”
“It’s just that you’re usually so cautious with my safety. I’m still so breakable, so fragile and weak. Why haven’t you changed me yet?” I demanded. I wanted an answer, and I wanted it now. I wasn’t going to have any excuses, I wanted him to explain himself, give me good reasoning as to why I was still soft and warm.
“I’m not sure if I’m ready yet. I know you are, but I’m not sure about myself. I just don’t want to lose you, I’m afraid I might kill you.”
“So I’d tell you to stop when I felt it had been enough. And then you just lock me in one of the rooms for three days, and then teach me to hunt after animals instead of humans.” I said, wanting him to listen to me. And I was pleased that he was genuinely listening to me, taking in every word I said. This made me the happiest I’d been that day.
“I don’t mind that idea. But somehow the idea of locking you in a room for three days terrifies me. Now come on, why don’t we have some fun? Victoria is dead and never coming after you again, the Volturi won’t harm you because they won’t be able to find us. Swim with me.”
“Alright.” I finally agreed.
He smiled and kissed my cheek. He backed away a little bit, turned, and dove into the nice cool water. I followed him for a few steps, scooping water up in my hands and letting the water run down my arms. I looked around me, expecting him to pop up somewhere to try and take me by surprise. Then I heard a small splash of water behind me, I turned and there he stood, glistening and smiling at me with those beautiful golden eyes.
“I thought you were going to come under.” He said in that beautiful and sultry voice of his.
“I’m preparing myself.”
“Come on, have some fun.” He scooped me up in his strong arms and ran further out into the lake like the water didn’t exist, the water that would push back and normal person. But I guessed that being a vampire, water didn’t have quite the same effect on him. “Take a breath.” He instructed. I did as he said and the second I did he dove underwater with me still in his arms.
When I opened my eyes I was being pushed against cold hard chest from the speed and the force of the water. I could tell that he was enjoying the rush because his muscles tensed; he looked down at me and put his lips to mine. My lungs had been replenished with new air, and all I could taste was mint. We sped past fish and other life that existed in the depths of the lake. It was beautiful. I had never seen anything like this, not even in an aquarium where you were surrounded by tanks with all the sea life in them. This was about a thousand times better than that. It was like a dream, a dream that I wouldn’t want to end. But it wasn’t a dream, no, it was much better, this was reality, and only reality that seems like a dream can truly overcome the power of a pleasant dream.
And being with Edward made it even better. My vampire and me, our happiness, this magical experience that he was giving me while I was still human. It was wonderful; I never wanted it to end. But more than likely, it was going to end at some point; he’d have to take me back above water to let me breathe normally. He put his lips to mine again to replenish my lungs. I seemed to be getting over the dizzying effect of his lips, but they still made any moment more magical than what it actually was, or needed to be.
He didn’t open his mouth, clearly not wanting water to flow into him, for that would surely have an effect even on a vampire. The next thing I knew we burst out of the water in the middle of the lake, our heads just floating above the water.
“Now tell me, what did you think of that?” he asked, hoping that I had enjoyed it.
“Different. But a good different. I certainly enjoyed it.”
“That’s good. Because I only want you to enjoy the time that we have alone together.” He put his lips to mine in a kiss, holding me tight, but not too tightly as he didn’t want to hurt me. As he kissed me one thought ran through my mind, please turn me into a vampire. I wanted to spend eternity with him, was that so wrong to ask for?
“Edward…” I said when he pulled away to see my smiling face. “I love you.”
“And I love you Bella. Now I have another question for you.”
“Yes?”
“Do you want me to start the transformation tonight?”
My heart caught in my throat, I couldn’t speak. I didn’t know what to say. Instead of speaking, I merely nodded my head yes.
“But you’re not the reckless type.” I argued.

My Bella
Pressed against your neck in a gentle embrace,
My thirst arises like a beast inside me,
I can feel your veins pulsing against my lips,
Your lifeblood flowing inside them, just out of reach.
I pull back, slowly, to gaze into your eyes,
And smile, for I know how mine must appear,
Black as coal, but you do not flinch, nor look away,
Nor do you show any slight sign of fear.
My hands slide up, your cheeks fitting into my palms,
As if they were made especially for me to hold,
My mouth presses tenderly against yours,
And I apologise silently for my eternal cold.
I feel your fingers, entertwining lustfully with my hair,
As I fight my ow

Edward Cullen by Bella Swan
His body is hard as stone
and his touch is cold as ice.
His voice is smooth as silk.
His thirst is his only vice.
Vampires don't exist.
That's what I've been told.
But Edward never changes.
He never will grow old.
His family is kind
though unconventional at best.
They consider me one of them
though I am not one yet.
I deem myself unfit
for the love that he bestows.
I still have no idea
why it was me, he chose.
His immortal kiss is coming.
Better late than never.
But I know this fact is true,
only a vampire can love you forever.

Edward Cullen poem
Running through the forest
I think of my love
What she means to me
And what I'd do for her
I'd give up blood
Go on national TV
I don't think there's anything
I wouldn't do
But as I come into the clearing
I think of one thing
As a bird swoops by
And my heart follows its soft song
I will not take this from her
This life this wonder
It's all there for her to take
But why does she choose me?
I run through the night
Following a familiar path
I find myself outside her window
Wondering if I'm allowed in
I have almost decided
When I stop and look out
Upon the shimmering night
Thinking maybe this isn't so bad

Part 2 of Bella and Edward's Honeymoon.
MAJOR EDIT
OKAY, THIS IS JUST DRIVING ME NUTS! People, I know I said back when I originally posted this that I wasn't going to do a part 3, but after seeing how much people like the story, I'm working on Part 3. It's still under development and seriously shakey since I'm having trouble writing the scene everybody wants in the next book. I know I want it too, but it's trying to keep it from being cheesy or anything like in the old vampire films. So that will be something to look forward to. And I'm going to keep it going until I have a grand total of 2 WEEKS OF HONEYMOON posted. So that means there will be much more and with my ideas. Okay? So please, stop asking about part 3, and it will be posted when it's done.

Thank you for all the views, faves, and comments for part 1, I wasn't expecting it to be that popular.
